Any body see the movie "Mr. Murder"? The bad guy clone flashes a rescue behind his back at one point when being confronted and another time when stealing a motorcycle. Not a bad movie if you like Dean Koontz.

There was a Spydie used in Cliffhanger... and in Point of no Return...
and in...

too many to list...

And in "Entrapment"
Sean Connery uses one(like Delica)
when stealing a priceless Rembrandt
and .....

If you look carefully in the new Martin Lawrence film Blue Streak, you'll see a Spyderco Delica or Worker used by a cop (William Forsythe) to examine seized cocaine.

Ralf Fiennes has one stabbed into his back in Strange Days, then uses it to cut off his tie and send the bad guy hurtling to his death....

Does anybody know the title of a film in which Peter Coyote plays a photographer, visiting some South American country, who stumbles onto a mystery involving knife fighters? I saw the movie on video about 6 or 8 years ago and I'd like to see it again but can't remember the title. Oh yeah, one of the bad guys uses a great big Spyderco knife for his evil work, if my memory is accurate.

Yes, Hollywood is teaching us that knives are bad guy weapons. Don't be too hard on Hollywood, since that cultural prejudice is as old as written history.

Yeah, it was the youngest Baldwin who flashed the Mariner a few times in Mr. Murder but he never did use it.

In a premiere airing of "Law and Order, Special Victims Unit" in the East Coast, the Captain or Lieutenant produced a medium size auto to cut off a pic from an altered I.D. card. What was it???

Thanks Sal, trying to remember the title was driving me nuts. Was there a big Spyderco knife in the film? Which one?

If memory serves me correct, there was a Spydie in "Anaconda" as well - used by the cameraman. If it wasn't for that, the film would have been VERY disappointing!

in the avengers a ss handle police model was used. serated and the guy used the hole grad and drop opening. Miss Peel kicked hie but though.

A Halloween episode of "Millenium" starts out with a pumpkin and the Spyderco knife that will be used to carve it...(Endura?). Also, one episode of "Outer Limits"....astronauts are being held captive on an alien spaceship. Crew gets aggitated with each other and one guy draws a knife on his fellow crewman.....full side shot of a Spyderco "Spyderbug" Q model. Several episodes of "Cops" shows the policeman with a Police model.

On the local news here in San Diego, I've seen Spydercos used a few times by border agents removing drugs from cars...usually serrated Enduras, once saw a Wayne Goddard lightweight. Saw a Delica in COPS once.
I love seeing Spydercos in movies...seems stupid, because before I got back into knives I didn't even notice them. In fact, it was Anaconda that got me interested, then i learned the company that made them was called Spyderco.
Oh, yeah, in Jennifer 8 the villain uses a fully-serrated Police model to "threaten" a blind girl, and another Police is seen in The Client.

In another thread, DC mentioned seeing the Moran in 'Practical Magic' w/ Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

PTN, if you really want Exposure aka "A High Art", aka "Knifefighter" try Ebay. That's where I got my copy.

It's based on A High Arte/Grande Arte by Rubem Foneseca. I've just finished the book and honestly, the movie is more entertaining though the book gives more depth to the characters.

Wasn't that a Delica Mel used in "Payback"?

I noticed that most of Jean-Claude Van Damme's movies almost always include a Spydie (most of the time, it's a Stainless Police version).

Like in "Double Team" (co-stars Dennis Rodman), and Hard Target.

What knife was used in Anaconda anyway? I think I might have missed that part... argh!

In Anaconda Ice Cube's character carries a Delica. He loses it in the river before having the chance to sneak up on the bad guy with it. There is at least one scene where he uses it for more typical knife duty.
