I saw Fox Mulder use one to cut open a car seat while searching for something - another alien maybe?

Do the film companies notify Spyderco beforehand? Or do they use the knives without Spyderco's knowledge?

In the latest sequel novel to "Silence of the Lambs", which is "Hannibal", Mr. Lector is using a Harpie!
 
Dr. Lecter also acquires a "Civilian" to round out his cutlery collection in "Hannibal". (side note: Clarice favors the .45 auto as a sidearm; my kinda gal!)
