You know,I really do not have a lot to say about Spyderco. All of mine are fine.I still have my Police from the `70`s;no complaints.I cemented ping pong rubber to it.I have a hard time thinking about something to talk about.I have a lot of Spydies.I buy them in pairs with the same lot number.I do that with pistols also.If one goes down,I have a spare with the same charactoristics, same trigger, etc.I buy ammo by lot,1,000 rds.Saves hassle in reloading. The brass is the same. The Civilian requires specilized traning, despite what Sal says. There lots of good moves that you can do ,if you understand that it operates on three plains, instead of two.Without that understanding, the weapon can be more dangerous to the user than the opponent.I bought a pair which are the same in action. The Enduras and MILS. are self explanatory. My opinion is the one that I use.

Could you perhaps elaborate on the 3 plains the civilian can operate in? I have been contemplating about getting one, but I am still not sure. The hawkbill 'principle' seems to be one of 'grabbing' your opponent and moving him to you. This is something I don't want in a defensive blade, I could very well be wrong. Thank you in advance.
