Spydy Byrd--WOW!

This is a great site , i am new to collectding knives. Nice to be in touch with other knife collectors, there is a lot of great information here at blade forums. :)

I've had my Cara Cara 2 with G-10 scales for several years now and it's seem some rugged use on camping trips and it's the knife I use hard without worrying if I'm going to damage it. So far, aside from some scratches on the blade, this knife is still good as new from the factory. Lock-up is like a vault, no wiggle or wobble, no corrosion, no chipping, holds a nice edge. You can't beat this knife in the $30 - $40 range. It is every bit as good as the Spyderco line with the exception of the blade steel, which isn't bad at all. For all the fuss made about fancy blade steels this one has served me well for several years now.
