What? i lick it straight from the sander. blisters taste like victory.

seriously tho, dont wear gloves so you can feel the heat, but if your fingers are like mine, full of calluses and dead skin, you can do what i do and bring the blade to my lips, you can feel the heat off a blade to hot before you touch it.
