Squiggle Lines in Blade

I am noticing that when I am finishing up my blades, there may be one or two squiggly lines visible when you hold the blade just right to the light. I usually take the grit to 400, them buff, and then take it back to 600 from the almost-mirror. They are most noticeable in the buffed finish, but sometimes are still there when I take them back down. I think they are either from the belt, or the platen, but I try to be sure to use a good belt on that final swipe and I check the platen frequently. Could it be a problem in the belts surface itself?
I tried to capture it in a dozen pics but the sun just won't cooperate with the camera.
Thanks,

Yeah, I went out this a.m. before the sun and still couldn't get a decent shot of it. Been reading about light boxes for shiny object photos. I'll get that made this week and try again.

It's 1084, I think I found the culprit. Seems like there is a 'bump' on the J weight 400 grit belt I had not noticed.
My apologies for asking the question without being able to post a decent image, I appreciate the efforts though.
