Squirt pliers: what are they good for?

I used them recently to untie a knot.
Like they say: the best knife there is, is the one you have on you.
I had the squirt loose in my pocket and so it got used again.
 
I bought my squirt particularly for trout fishing. I usually pack very light for stream/rock hopping. It works great for knots as well as releasing (the hook) the fish without removing their protective slimy film.
