Recommendation? SRK 3V replacement sheath options

Thanks everyone for this thread. I recently bought the SRK 3V and wanted a different sheath than the one that comes with it. I found a pretty good deal on Etsy for custom handmade leather sheath for this knife for a reasonable price. I received it yesterday and so far very happy with it. Great fit and quality. The maker even formed the leather to give you a tight fit as you go in and out on the last two inches. The strap/buckle works perfect and isn't necessary because of tight fight, but I like to use it just in case when active.

So I bought a Cold Steel SRK in CPM 3V two weeks ago. Got it in and (like most other owners) found that it does NOT fit the factory "Secure-Ex" sheath. The blade geometry in 3V is wider than their SK5 version and you have to fight to get it in and out of the factory sheath, potentially dulling/marring the blade's nice satin finish.
Bought a Buck 119 leather sheath (the burgundy version with the anvil "Buck" logo stamped on it) for it. Took out the plastic liner and the SRK 3V fits *almost* perfectly. Have to apply just a tad of pressure the final 1/8" to get it to seat flush top of sheath opening to bottom of SRK's grip, but after doing it two or three times it goes in smooth. The sheath's wrap-around secure-strap (for lack of better term) fits the handle and the guard perfectly. Side bonus, the Buck 119 sheath holds the knife higher closer to the belt than the Cold Steel's hanging style plastic sheath. Plus the burgundy leather with my SRK's olive green handle looks pretty good.

I ended up liking my secure ex sheath but I initially had the same problem you mention. Turns out you can file down the nodules inside the sheath (spine side) which gives it just enough clearance to fit without the edge making contact.

The sheath was a big reason I purchased the 3V SRK. Ended up selling it because I didn't enjoy the overly textured handle.
