How good is cold steels heat treat for 3V? I have been seeing reports of their 3V knives chipping so not entirely convinced.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Just found it on Massdrop today, how's the heat treat on this production knife when compared to brk, and other well tested 3v blades? 126 is decent but that 1-2 months wait tho.

I think ill just avoid this brand. 60-80 more i can just get something way better. Thanks everyone for the advice.
All 3 of those are great choices. I've had the swamprat ratmandu, very well thought out and useful knife. I haven't had a bradford or one of Nathans knives but I have not heard anything but praise for them either. Any of the 3 would serve you well. Price and wait times may be quite a bit more. If you don't mind the wait though I'd take any of those three with micarta or G10 over the Kraton SRK and its a great knife. They are just better. Of course your pretty much into custom price range and time frame for all 3.
some that im considering...
