hi, im new to this forum and was wondering if someone could tell me the pros and cons of a serrated back on a bn-ss thanks, P.S.

As I understand it the serrations on the BN were meant to cut fibers in a wet environment. They may be passable for notching wood or plastics, and they would probably do a good job on light aluminum. I had one minus the serrations. It still had the grind on the top, just no teeth. That went through wd-1 well and would work well on banding.
