Welded up one yesterday in a 2" X 2" X 4". The billet cames out of the can pretty nice. The Billet is Wolf Rua's and must be draw out. We plan to do it on the 4TH. Will post pic's when it is drawn out. The end fell off the can and when I was drawing it out, the Damascus was coming out the end like hard toothpaste.:D Also had Paul Sabin here he made up a twisted billet.

What did you use for the can itself?

I sent one of the fellows on this forum a box of 3" and 4" stainless schedule 20 tubing, all were four inches long. He was going to make canisters from them. Don't remember his name. (He sent me a piece of 1/4" SS sheet.) One day I'm going to try it and see what happens.

Pic of billet. Gray cut 2" off of it, then I drawed it out to 1" X 3/16" X 10". He forge a 6" blade and had enough for another one.
