The factory blade is 440c ss,1/16" thick stock. Flat ground to a very ,very thin edge. It has a satin machine finish on the blade steel. After taking the so so pics I stropped this on a leather ,it is crazy sharp for slicing veggies,you could carve cooked meats & poultry with it.
12.25" OAL,Blade is 7-7/8" with 7-5/8" of cuting edge ,handle is 4-3/8".
Full figured , stabilized,curly French boxwood is a hardwood with tight fine grain. Finished out to about what I'd say 800 grit finish. 1/8" nickel silver pins.
Very lightweight knife.Very nice,if I do say so myself.
