Just got back from the PO after picking up my new/used Spyderco Chinook. I worked a swap with Hank Stevens for my CF Carnivore and it went smooth as glass. He had mentioned that the Chinook was used, carried and resharpened. I'm always skeptical about this because the terminology is relative to the users point of view. What I got was one of the original numbered edition Chinooks. It shows a few carry marks on the G-10 but that is to be expected. The blade was in outstanding condition and the sharpening work is some of the best I've ever received. He has thinned the edge a little and left it shiny and clean. No stray marks of any kind and it will shave hair damned near by holding it close to my arm. It push cuts like a SOB as well.
I just thought I'd put this post here as a way of saying "Thanks for a good and straight up honest trade Hank". I'll do business with you again any time. You are a man of your word and can be absolutely trusted on a deal.
