  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

St. Patrick's Day - Food and Beverage throwdown and Fatty WIP

Ok not to post this all over hell and creation but this is what I made, courtesy of Chef Tonya.

1 can of coconut milk
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup hazelnut non dairy creamer
1 tbspn brown sugar

mix all those ingredients in a tumbler and a few pieces of ice and pour into whiskey and coffee to taste. maybe 3/4 cup coffee and 1/4 whiskey if you need direction. If you are like me, you do it to taste despite the fuckin directions.

ARGHHH!!!

Can't really compare my offering to that. Unfortunately I have to eat healthier than that or I would climb right in the middle of it with a fork. Shamrock Dubliner cheese ravioli with vodka sauce and olive focaccia bread. Oh yeah...and lots of beer. Tasted much better thank it looked.

My belated St. Paddy's Day feast! My Irish Grandma surprisingly let me do a lot of the work, she is usually very territorial about this meal. Must be getting soft in her old age. Sorry for the pic quality my camera was dead so I had to use my phone. You'll notice my BK14 is naked, I am awaiting the new scales so I prematurely removed the paracord wrap. None the less, it was still pretty comfortable for this purpose. Here are the veggies about to be prepped, at this point the corned beef has already been in the pot for a veerrryyy lonnnggg tiiimmmee.

My wonderful grandma, thanks for letting me help today! You can see me laughing at her passive wave in the mirror.

And yes there was Guiness, but I held off on it until I watched The Walking Dead tonight. Cheers!

I hate you all.... I had a vacuum sealed dinner for St. Patrick's day!!! On the flip side I was sleeping on a platform in Hell's Bay down in the Everglades, so a real meal wasn't an option.... But still, that fatty makes me hungry, and there isn't any meat in the house..... Well, frozen ground beef, but that ain't corned beef no matter what you do to it...
