St. Patricks Day GID GEC, BK11 & Misc Green Lot GAW

AWESOME PICS EVERYBODY!!! Hey just making sure I was making myself clear in the rules for you guys using all your pics in one post.

Noswad and Sullie are doing what I was thinking would be done here is post a pic of pet, then post a pic of Landscape, then post beer, knife ect. You can totally just use all the pics you want in one post but if you spaced them out you'd have a better chance at winning.:) If only want to post once thats perfect would just increase your odds of winning if you used one pic per post of requested pics. Just making sure I explained that well enough just incase. But only post 1 photo of each catagory once. You guys that posted more than one pic in your first post can repost that photo or make another in same catagory. Sorry if didn't explain this well enough in OP.

I'm gonna add a BK11 to this GAW wrapped in green paracord. So there will be 3 winners. The 1st winner can choose whatever one they want. 2nd winner gets other. Will post a pic tomarrow. Thanks for all the great pics so far.:D

Imageshack has gotten worse and worse (trying to force you to pay to get to the photos you uploaded back when the service was free), but luckily the images are still there, it just takes some reverse engineering of their links (eh, just changing the resolution from thumbnail size to "real" size). I only say that because its been a pain to get to the photos, and it delayed my entry here :/.

This post is of a pet.

This is my late dog. Passed away a few years ago at a fairly young age (~10yrs), but was a great dog. He was a bit timid (hid from fireworks and thunderstorms in my parents closet :p), but knew everyone in the family by name (and his toys). This is a photo of him up at my parents cabin in Northern AZ a few days after Christmas a few years back, and its my clear favorite of all of our photos of him, and actually made it into a puzzle for my parents (my mom loves puzzles, and our dog, figured it was a win win :)).

Green knife entry (#2 so far).

My only green knife is a Svord Peasant. This photo was actually for an EDC thing in the Becker subforum, so its not a great shot of just the knife. I do think it looks like a chili pepper though, and is easy to spot just about anywhere. And where I am in CA, its illegal to carry a fixed blade and "conceal it" (aka, just carrying it in my laptop bag), so the peasant is a great replacement. I consider it a short handled fixed blade knife with a folding handle extension :).

And here is its twin, a peasant mini I made some bluejean micarta for, that I really think dressed it up a bit (and yes, I'm aware its not green :/).

Logan, nice looking pup you have there. Border collie? Mine isn't super friendly either. Just a one man dog really. He's been mine since the moment he was born. My wife's parents bought a farm 4.5 years ago and they took the border collies that lived there. Couple of months later they called me panicking that they were having puppies. I have raised a few litters so I told them what to to and got there ASAP. Blue, my dog was born moments after I got there and had a bit of trouble but mom and I got him going just fine. He's been mine ever since day one.
Thanks again for the chance Ulf, I was going to apologise for seeming greedy and entering multiple times but hoped I had followed the rules accordingly. I really appreciate what you are doing.
And without further ado, my boy Blue:

Close, my dog was an Australian Shepherd, which in most ways is very similar to the Border Collie. The main difference is Border Collies have tails, while Aussies very frequently don't (not bobbed, they just don't exist). Aussies are also a touch larger. They're both considered among the smartest dogs out there, and both are very popular with the agility competitions. I've yet to meet one of either that I haven't liked.

He was nice and friendly, but took a while to warm up to people :). But nice Border collie you got there, and it sounds like you've got a buddy now through thick and thin :).

And agreed, I actually have a few more images/posts written up, but then held off, as I don't want to be the only one entering many times, as I'm not in a desperate need of any of the offerings (they're great, I'm just saying I feel relatively covered right now, so I'd rather give more chances to others).

Thanks again for the chance Ulf :D.

Ulf Krogstad,

Not an entry, just wanted to say thank you for doing this GAW. I'm sure those will make some great tools for someone and I hope you enjoy the gifts you've received on the forum.

Like the others I don't want to seem greedy. Just to be sure, we can enter as many times as we have pictures for as long as we don't enter with the same category twice? If so, I'll use my green knife pic next.

Thanks again Ulf.

BK11 photo added.

FatT tasty looking fish and like the knife.

Panzer that a chicken hawk?

Abby been wanting a T2 for a long time now. Like all the Lone Wolf stuff I have/had. Any chance would want to trade it for everything in this GAW.:p:rolleyes:

Kool Kat KOD. Sorry for the loss. Everything I see is excellent. Looks like you get around. I myself haven't left the state of MN in (cept to maybe Canada for fishing) ten years. My dad travels constantly. Been all over the globe. He gets free trips from rich people he works for and is friends with. Gets to stay at their (2nd) houses and stuff to when they aint there pretty sweet deal. Fan of Springfield guns. That's the first Kizer that I can say I would want also.

Noswad I hope you got to eat those Brookies!:D Nice ones! I don't think I've got one over 10" before. I've seen my cousin get a 2-3lber out of the same river I get mine from and think that was around 13-15 in. 18 in Brookie is a trophy! Congrats on killing those coyotes too. Haven't shot one myself but if I see one it's dead. I'm applying for a wolf tag this year.

Nice bird and art Zamapeli. Wish I had artistic talent. I remember my friend from high school brought to my house unannounced this insane painting he made in art class of a rotting demon in hell with it's guts hanging out. Said" hey figured you would like this, parents don't want this in the house, didn't just want to throw away". Unbelieveable detail. Kept it for awhile. My dad felt the same way about it though so went back out the door. It smelled awful, was huge like 50"x30", and as said insane. lol Been really thinking about getting a tat of this hand on my arm.

Great etch you put on that BK11 onojoe. Never had that beer but it's making me thristy.

Woodkrafter not much of a tradtional guy except for the ones that have got age to them, but that is one of the best looking trads I have ever seen. Very bright and clean looking and really like the blade.

RC like that pic of the Grand canyon rapids. Were you at the edge of the cliff to take that pic?

Big haul of ducks there perckjerk. Hope to get some this year.

Tbow is that Sig a 320 or 250? How do you like it compared to others? Thinking of getting a 320. Not a fan of DAO pistols so kinda rules the 250 out for me. Had for awhile a P238,P938,and P229. All great guns.

Logan had the same problem with photobucket. Used up all my free space and made all the photos I posted here over the year disappear.:grumpy: Wanted me to pay to restore and still use them. Screw that.
Sorry about your dog. That's really cool you made a puzzle of him for your parents.

Nice dog sullie. Dogs with blue eyes are really cool.

KG4ULR What are the fixed blades in that pic? Like em.

Also a fan of the BM 15020 I have too RC. Currently looking for more.:)

Seriously. Its like their holding my photos ransom.

To make imageshack work (at least right now, until they realize this is working), all you have to do is copy the link you want, and replace the thumbnail resolution of 100x150 or whatever with the resolution you want. I used 1280x1024 in the photos above.

So just go into imageshack, and copy out the actual link to the photo that looks like this

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/150x100q90/9/img0071qf.jpg

And change the bolded part on your photo to this.

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1280x1024q90/9/img0071qf.jpg

And boom, you have your old photo back, at an actually useful size.

Anyway, thought I'd explain what I meant a bit more, in case anyone else was wanting to work around that issue.

Thanks! I eat all of them I catch unless they are too small, then I just toss them back. I catch them in a little net in a creek about a 30 second walk from the house so they're always there if I need to grab one, and there is almost always a 10+ inch one in there somewhere. Coyotes are my favorite to kill. Hope you get your wolf tag and clear a few of them out, too.

Here's another entry, green knives.

Thanks for the chances!

BTW, am I allowed to enter as many times as I have pictures for as long as I don't do one category twice? Don't want to seem greedy, but if I have the pics and it's not against the rules I'll enter as many times as I can.

Thanks for the opportunity. Here's a shot of my bird dog enjoying a day of fishing at the OBX. She enjoys
fishing as much as hunting except when the sea birds catch her eye and she takes off down the beach.

RC like that pic of the Grand canyon rapids. Were you at the edge of the cliff to take that pic?

I wish. I was standing on an overlook with the rest of the tourists.

**Favorite knife** - Old Cattaraugus Quarteraster 225Q. Was heavily pitted, I am in the process of regrinding the blade at the moment. Finishing to satin (2000grit auto)

Thanks, I don't draw much anymore. That's beautiful. Isn't in flames a band?? Pretty cool. I use a "shader/blender" as well as a pen, it is easy to put definition into sketches and drawings with one. I'd never throw a painting like that out, blasphemy. Here are a couple others:
