Wow. Im lost for words really.

Someone break the blade, then put a edge on it ?

I still say that someone needs to buy this and send it in to CRK for a spa treatment and request a "touch up" on the blade :D

Hilarious! Don't let Mr. Reeve see it though. We need him to stay in good health.

This is why I ONLY use the Sharpmaker and like sharpeners and not the edge-pro, wicked-edge and all the other funky gadgets.........!!!

I saw that about a month ago. The asking price was about $175 I think??? That looks like an original Sebenza that has been sharpened on a grinding wheel for about 20 years. Wow.

What if that was a touch up from CRK? :foot:

Then at least 2 people no longer have jobs? The person that touched it up and the person that wrapped it up.

Would seriously love to have a gopro in the vicinity when this package was opened up..but then again, they have probably seen similar items in one respect or another.

Yup that sums it up.
I could only wonder what they have seen. They do a fine job sharpening. But that said I will never let another human sharpen my one and only CRK.

If I had the money, I would buy that for 150 and put a new blade on it.
If it were on this site that is.

I think you need an angle grinder, well at least a power tool of some sort to get that done. Need speed and heat.

Even with a filing jig and agressive cutting metal file one would need HOURS of "sharpening" to get there, it is a hardened blade after all.

I wonder if they could (or would) fit a blade to an original. Certainly not ATS-34, but could a 21 blade be fitted to it?
