Stab-benza

How is it that we know that is an original and not a 21? Or are there other pictures. Just curious what to spot if not, Matt.

Here are my observations. I could be wrong since I'm just guessing based on a summation of clues in this picture-

Ahaa. The blade grind is the biggest difference I see. Not even close to my 21. And the cutout looks to have a deeper cut out. Although I remove the pin and lanyard carry like that. Good clues. I pulled out my 21 and see alot of what you are referring to. Thank you.

Yep. The blade grind is a big clue. The Classic had a grind that fell short of the handle bevel, but the thumb cut-out was also more scalloped. Here was a close-up pic I took of three types of Sebenza blade that shows this a little better. I'm pretty sure that the Stab-benza was either an outright fake or a legit, original Sebenza from around 1995 that was hideously maimed.

That's a 21 on top (on a Classic frame - replaced by CRK), a P/Original in the middle and Regular on the bottom for comparison.

think I'd offer $20.00 buy the handle, then take it to crk to purchase a blade.

C'mon Eric,..

Take it like it is and zip on over to see Chris,..hand it to him and ask him to polish it up
