stabilize mammoth ivory?

most generally... Ivory is not stabilized... it's pretty stable straight from nature.:D

However there is some evidence that it does indeed need some stabilization. so my recomendation would be to fit it up and then use a cyanoacrylate on all sides front and back to seal it up. good luck and post pics when your finished!
