These were cut from the edge of a board that appears to have been milled with hand tools. The thickness was inconsistent and the edges were beveled. This part of the board had the best figure. I purchased this wood around 20 years ago from a retired Ft. Worth cop who was getting the it from a region in Laos that was about to be flooded by a new lake.
