Hey KnifeCollector

THANKS!
For all the great comments on all the knives.
You need to get ya one of them, they're really hot.:o
and the price is about the best you are going to see for knives of this quality.

Thanks!
TAD

I don't usually comment on knives, and I'm not in the market for customs (I just try to make them every so often). But I wanted to say that I really like your work (especially your double blade folders!). I'm really impressed with your filework. I often see overly complicated or ambitious designs, but yours are always easy on the eye and subtle enough to add a nice touch without taking over. Beautiful stuff.

I know, I do need to get one!! And your prices are awesome! I just can't right now, as I am currently unemployed. (I have an extremely PT job.)

When I asked about your knives, someone here gave you a gold star. ;)

I'll take this one. Send me a PM, pls.

Just picked up the knife - very nice work, Todd! I'll be ordering another one soon (and great value for the money, folks)

One suggestion, Todd - the actual scales on the knife are so much lighter than they appear in the photos above, I thought you had shipped me the wrong knife! ;)

Thank You! very much Holger.
Sorry about the poor photos, I hope the knife being lighter is not a problem.
It doesn't sound like it is. The prices on my knives are really a steal.
Enjoy the knife, and I look forward to here from you again.
Thanks!

Not a problem at all. My first thought when I opened the package was, "Shoot! Some guy received my black ash knife by mistake. Hope he's not going to be too upset." :)

Question: why is it called BLACK ash when the scales are light caramel/tan? I'll see if I have time to post a photo for comparison.

To tell the TRUTH I don't know. Maybe we could get some help here from a
person who really knows? Is it from the black looking Specs in it?
I may have to do some research and find out for you.
Hmmmm..... ?????   TAD

George Tichbourne said it is called that just to differentiate it from the White Ash used for making baskets and hockey sticks.
