Stabilized curly maple

This is just my guess, but I am not sure that any stabilized wood will take much in the way of dye. I'm interested if anyone has tried. If it did accept dye I wonder if it would be in a similar way to unstabilized wood.

My experience is that leather dye will stain greased teflon so I'm going to say yes.

Any one who thinks stabilized wood won't take dye......go ahead and put a nice rich black color on and and tell us how many hours or days it takes to sand off. :D

Stabilized wood CAN CERTAINLY be dyed........yes even stuff from K&G.

I'm not just assuming.....I've done it many times.
Alright! Thats great news! Thanks for the answers headed out to the shop to dye some stabilized maple
