Does anybody know if stabilized curly maple will take an alchohol based dye?
Alright! Thats great news! Thanks for the answers headed out to the shop to dye some stabilized mapleAny one who thinks stabilized wood won't take dye......go ahead and put a nice rich black color on and and tell us how many hours or days it takes to sand off.
Stabilized wood CAN CERTAINLY be dyed........yes even stuff from K&G.
I'm not just assuming.....I've done it many times.
