I have begun doing my own stabilizing. A local wood seller showed me a process/product that works very well. As I posted in my free sample thread it is something I intend to use myself. I will be offering pieces for sale from time to time and may develop into more. Here are my first offerings.

All wood has been sanded to 400 grit and buffed lightly. No additional treatment has been applied unless specified.

Shipping, $10 shipping on all orders. Orders over $100 will have insurance and signature required added on my dime.

If you receive any material you are not 100% happy with let me know and you can return it for refund. I will refund the full purchase price. I only ask you pay return shipping. This is the material I will be using in the future. That is how much I like this stabilizing process.

I'm currently working with some Koa and Maple from the giveaway and am just floored by the quality!

Everything is very stable, clean and looks even better than the photos... my Koa was going to go on a fixed blade but after I got it the piece was upgraded to linerlock with Mokume bolsters status... and I've been saving this Mokume for years waiting on a really nice piece worthy to match. The Maple also has great depth to the figure and is as clean as can be.

It seems that I may need to sweeten the pot a little. I can understand the reluctance of new stabilizing. There are so many shoddy home recipes out there. I will reduce the price by 25% of all handle material $20 or over. The $15 material is my lowest possible price. Like I mentioned before this comes with a 100% satisfaction guaranty. If you don't like it return it and I will refund your purchase.

The four blocks of Koa arrived today Excellent handle material. The photos do not do them justice. They are solid, no flaws at all and the grain is very fine. Can't wait to put them to use.
