Looks like a fine design and nice craftsmanship, nice fitting sheath also

And Welcome, lots of good knife nuts and maker's here.

There's a nice article in the current issue of Knives Illustrated describing the latest batch of 12 Journeyman Smiths including Pete Crowl. This looks like a very nice example of his work. And a good price.

Congratulations Pete.

Pete, put up some slightly larger pics and I bet she sells in a few minutes.

Nice looking blade and sheath

Your first sale post; my first post period. Happenstance, or fate portending good things to come? Les Robertson touts your future, and I can see why. Been eying the hunters on his website. From what I can tell afar (photos), I put you at the top of the list regardless of price--clean, flowing, simple elegance.

The maple burl is primo but a bit light for my tastes, which run darker or to stag. I have your email; hope to do business with you in the new year.

Cordially,
Ken Williams

Thank you Ken. I'm proud to get your first post. I'll be sending Les a hunter on Monday with an Iron Wood handle. I'll look forward to your email.
