Stabilizing Any Wood?

I'm going to have another few blocks to get stabilized. But, I'd like to make it worthwhile and add some more to the order.

Now I have a TON of birdseye, hard curly maple, leopardwood, and lacewood. Can any of those be stabilized? And more importantly, how do any of those particular woods take the stabilizing/dye process? I'd like to see some nice dark colored birdseye and curly, but, not sure if they are stabilize worthy.

All those woods stabilize well.
Lacewood seems to darken a bit, which is nice. It makes the lace pattern bolder.
I like to dye and stabilize curly and birdseye maple. Brown, red, and green all look good on kitchen knives.

They sell much better when stabilized.

What Stacy says - also might check with the folks you plan to send wood for stabilizing and allow them to comment.

I have found K&G GREAT at giving info on what stabilizes and what doesn't. Walnut can be stabilized but sometimes turns an UGLY dark gray color when stabilized.
