I just pulled 3 sets of oversized scale material 2 plum wood, 1 bolivian rosewood, out of the vacume jar of minwax wood hardner, it sat for 24 hrs. It bubbled like crazy for 30 minutes, then the bubbling stopped, all pieces darkened, that stuff is sticky. I put it in a warm oven 150 for a few minutes just to dry it. How long do I have to wait to sand , shape and epoxy them. Also what surface finish is acceptable, ie: tung oil,satin.....

You can put them in a box on some paper towels and direct a hair dryer in their general direction (bounce the heat off the side) so that the air dries them and not just the heat, should help keep the warpage down.

As far as a finish, well that probably depends on your stabilizing medium you used. Some just need buffed after sanding.

Hope I was on some help here.
