Stabilizing wood. yourself,so here is the set-up i made last year and it worked out great.
it held vacuum of 29 for two weeks, and then held pressure for a week.
took every thing out let sun dry and cut some into slabs and through them in water for a day then dried them of and in 30 min. no water.
worked for me. worked for about 86 mo. and still using the ones i made.

Several questions if you do not mind. What are you using to stabize the wood with? How long are you leaving them in a vacuum and how long are you leaving them under pressure and what pressures are you using?

Rashid how did you get on the list to get those coupons? I have an HF right down the road from me.

this is a letter i wrote to larryLarry
I did mine in a mix of minwax woodhardner and minwax stain but mine
was diluted with
acetone. I have not tried to use the darker stain but I'm sure it will work.
as for wssi they are about 125 miles north of me.
I was going to use them, but my son built this with me and you know how that
goes.
tell me how have you done?
acetone works well to make it runner and smells, but I cut them into slabs
and let them air dry with rubber bans around them, sanding them I can smell
some . after the handle s are slabed up I put a clear finish and as of now
no one says they can smell them. work great for me.
Larry where do you live.
