stabilizing woods for handles

if anyone has any info or knowledge about stabilizing wood, building chamber type of stuff used to stabilize, etc I would appreciate any info

I'd post a description of how to make one here...except the %*#@!! won't let me cut 'n paste, and i WILL NOT spend all the time to type it back in!!!!
