Hello Folks, Hope you like this latest creation.
Blade is CPM154CM .141 thick and 4. in. from tip to guard. O/A is 8.25 Heat treated with cryo and double tempered to 60-61 RC. Ground with 8 in wheel. Worked to a polish and hand satin finished with 2000 grit. Super sharp.
Guard is 416 stainless carefully silver soldered.
Handle is African blackwood with Mammouth and Fossil walrus ivory accents and brass and thin black fiber spacers. Mammouth accents are carefully carved to add a nice added grip as well as some added visual appeal. imo. Tang runs full length and into pammel where I use a threaded insert and an 8-32 screw. I then use a .375 in. turned piece of Blackwood to fill hole. This little dagger has a Great feel to it.
Sheath is 8-9 ounce hand tooled and hand stitched leather. The knife is held perfectly snug yet is easy and quick to withdraw.
