Stacked and stripped.........................

I heard on another board that he bought 529 over 3 separate purchases. It's amazing anyone else got any.

How good is the finish? It's hard to tell without being really close up. It looks good, but how well finished is the blade in person?

I doubt some one spent $83,000 on them ( 529 X $157)

Are you talking about the black crinkle or the metal finish on the stripped one?

Yeah, the stripped one. What's the blade look like up close under there? Does it need any sort of finishing or is it appear to be double-cut or something close to that?

When the first pix came up, I wanted one just to do that. I don't have a use for a SW, so I'm hoping I can live vicariously thru you on the finish. I suspect the blades are double-cut already, but I could be dead-wrong. I would think less care would have gone into the handles. The pic isn't big enuf to really see the detail.
