This small necker has 3"copper etched ladder pattern damascus blade with rough forge texture and a sambar stag handle with stag buttcap,copper band with rawhide wraps,6 1/8"OALThe sheath is rawhide over veg-tan with a raised back with textured copper panel.Other features are integral deerskin neck lanyard,deerskin fringe,tin cones,horse hair,antique trade beads,copper tacks,and a fold formed copper feather.The knife and sheath both were made entirely by me.Price is 350.00 plus 10.00 shipping CONUS.Paypal is preffered and address is jhncohea@hotmail.com.Thanks for your consideration!

I am curious about the copper band. Did you form it around the tang like a habaki or was it cut from stock like a guard. It is a really nice element.
 
Paul the copper band is made from thin copper foil that was folded in half,run through a tube wringer at an angle,then annealed and unfolded.The handle material is recessed slightly then the copper is formed,fitted,and epoxied into place,then wet rawhide lace is wrapped around in place,dyed,then epoxied also.
