Greetings all,
From the earliest days of my knife nuttery, the combination of a stag handle and a damscus blade has ranked among my very favorites. The waxining and waning of of good stag supply over the years has meant that I couldn't always scratch that persistent itch, but in terms of custom orders it probabyl sits behind only walnut / carbon as my most requested.
So how about sharing some pics for us all to enjoy? It can be a knife you made, a knife you own or just a knife you admire. So long as the handle is stag and the blade is damascus, post it up please!
I'll start with a few, past and present.
1) Russ Andrews.
When "bowie" is added to the "stag and damscus" description, the results usually make me smile. This one puts me into a fit of giggles.
2) Bruce Bump
This one was mine, but now resides in the RogerP wing of the Murray White Museum of Modern Knives:
3) Ron Newton
A blast from the past, this piece is long, lean and lovely.
So let's see some more, please!
