For the past year I've been working off and on, on a bowie, and have finally gotten to the "fit and finish" part of my creation. However, I'm still struggling to decide on a finish for it's blade. Some suggestions on what would look nice, and how to achieve it would be greatly appreciated!

For starters, that photo is washed out, not focused to well.

I'm looking at the bevel height.
It seems that the bevel height is less than 1/4 of the blade width height.

That's way too steep of a bevel angle

I say at least three quarters of the way, or full flat grind, otherwise it's just heavy wasted material.

The clip looks funny to me, but I can't say why.

Nice piece of stag.

Finally gotten to the fit and finish part...thats pretty much the whole process isnt it? lol
Looks to me like you've left it too late to make any significant changes.
If you're talking about blade finish then the biggest improvement you could make is to remove the guard and handle before finishing the blade.

Count, id say the clip looks funny because its short and the tip is relatively low. Its also not a totally smooth arc.

If the clip came back further, the grind came up higher, and the ricasso was the same width as the handle it would be a much better knife
