Here is one I just completed. Could be a fighter but would do well as a skinner, caper or just all around. Blade is Damascus as is all fittings (true india Sambar with great texture). Butt plate is carved to follow texture of stag. Blade length is 5 1/4 inches and overall is 10 5/8, distal taper to tip. Very comfortable in the hand (left or right). Steel is 1080 and 15n20. Oh yes Dan...very nice!! That stag is exceptional and with your fine damascus blade and sculpted fittings...excellent piece!
