Desert ironwood is one of my favorite woods. The knife looks exceptionally clean. Good work! :thumbup:
 
To anyone thinking of buying this knife, I can thoroughly recommended doing so. I have had one of these for over a year now and have used it many times on my hunting trips. Fantastic little knife.
I have to say I have no affiliation to Dave other than owning quite a few of his fantastic knives!
 
I have not seen any rag micarta for years , getting more and more scarce . I sure did like the stuff and it looks great on your knife .
 
Yes it is Old stock from the 80s,I still have enough for about three knives.I have asked every old time knifemakerthat I know if they have any and can't find any more,It is rarer than the westinghouse White paper Micarta.Thanks for the nice comment and thanks to all that have looked.
