Stag Help Needed

Hey Jeff, Doesnt Dan Gray have some. If not Alex Whetsell (sp) CKD owner has a truckload i've heard.
 
Mark, I'm sorry to hear you've had a negative experience with Luca (elenhunting). I recently spent several hundred bucks on hippo teeth with him and it was an excellent transaction, including the return and replacement of a tooth I simply didn't like the shape of for knifework. His "customer service" was some of the very best I've experienced recently.
 
I just made an order to him. Nice guy.

I popped him an email and he called me via phone! After a nice chat, I made an order and finally I might get a couple knives to the table after a severe drought!

Funny you should mention that, Mark. My elbow and shoulder are definitely on the mend. I have been going to physical therapy and its working wonders. I made new anvil stand for my new anvil and fired up a new forge I bought two years ago and never got around to setting up. All I can say is, that new anvil is like having a new arm. I upped myself from a 1000g hammer to 1500g and choked up on the handle a bit more than I am used to, and it seems to work. This was from recommendation from the doctor who has no experience smithing at all.

That Nimba is like nothing I have ever used before. Great anvil! Was costly to me, but great! Feels like you are hitting a solid granite ledge.
 
Jeff, it's sure good to hear you are back in the swing of things! Just take it easy, though, you could damage your injury if it's not completly healed. You are being smart, though. You would probably have ended up permantly stiffened up if you had not exercised as well as taken the therapy. 'Smiths are tough characters, my 2 cents worth.

I just got a phone call from Luca, Damn nice fella. I guess we just had a misunderstanding about my order. Real stand up guy that has customer service as a priority. Bravo Luca.

I have no problem with that, I know your being nice but send it back if you don't have use for it or any other reason..
