The last one of these I posted got a lot of attentiion so I made up another. Not quite the same as the last one but that's the way it is supposed to work. No two alike.

1/8 inch ATS34 heat treated to Rc 58-60
Mirror finish
Hollow ground
Elk handle with a water buffalo spacer
Overall length: 9 5/8 inches
Blade: 4 3/4 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard

Very nice. Way too pretty to actually carry into the woods but looks quite capable of actual use.

Didn't I get one of these? If not I got one very similar. I gave it to my brother and he uses it all the time. I don't think the one I got is this pretty but it works well.
 
Must be a very popular design and materials the BF crew likes, sure doesn't take long for one of those to sell. Was it a couple of hours :thumbup:

Received the knife today. A most excellent looking piece. You did a wonderful job with the grinding and finish. Very even grind lines. Handle is a beauty to behold in person. Brass guard and butt cap are fitted very nicely with a smooth transition to the elk handle. The elk is much nicer than the pics show. Good feel in the hand with a razor sharp blade. I love the sheath color. I am very pleased. Thanks. :D
