I like the etched CPM-154 blade. Something like what with a bolster and nice wood or horn handle would go down a treat.

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps stainless steel with a dull finish. It is a real beauty. I do like the scales though.

Beautiful folder. The stag is great, the design is elegant and all the elements reinforce each other nicely.
 
Sweet piece, I would be very reluctant to sacrifice any of that awesome stag for a bolster, great just as is!
