I forged this smaller knife from a cutoff to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Sometimes I wonder if the extra labor to salvage a bit of steel is really worth the effort and as you can see there are a couple of what we call "unfortunate hammer blows" but my wife tells me that these give the knife character.

Forged from 52100 high carbon steel
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain structure throughout the blade
Flat grind with hammer marks on the flats
Stag and Micarta handle on a hidden tang
Overall length: 7 3/4 inches
Blade: 3 3/4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry

$old delivered within our United States. Please message me for shipping and payment options

Oops, I just noticed some buffing compound left of the brass, It's been wiped off..

Fine work. I like the stacked handle with the flat treatment. Nice piece of stag to finish it all off.
Would love to see one of your beautiful Sharp Fingers mated to this handle style.
