Hello All,
Things have been very busy here lately between Hammer-Ins and orders but, I'm hoping to be able to put out a few nice pieces before winter. Here's one, a Rasp Tomahawk and side knife set similar to the one I made for Ray Richard's Support Auction. Photos and description below. Thanks again to all and I hope to see some of you at the show in Cambridge, Ohio in a few weeks.
J.

This tomahawk is forged from a farrier's rasp and has a head that is approx. 5" from the shaft with a 1 3/4" edge. The tapered edge has a rough mirror polish and the forge marks/teeth on the rest. The head also has a forged loop on the back with deer skin/tip decorations attached. The shaft is a
beautiful piece of Curly Maple wood that is 21" from tip to tip with staggered brass tacks, stag caps on both ends (crown and web) and stabilized Buffalo horn spacers. The side knife is also forged from a farrier's rasp (same finish as the hawk) with a 4" edge (9 1/2" total length) and a scrolled/twisted "squirrel tail" handle. The whole set sits in a leather "canoe" sheath with brass hardware with a removable post sheath for the side knife.
Price for the entire set: $400.00, plus shipping.

Visa, MasterCard & Paypal are all fine and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
