This.... is an awesome #38! Without a doubt worthy of another look. Excellent choice.

Just got in my new GEC 38 pattern Grinling Whittler knives in. This one is the one I decided to carry. It is a nice piece of stag that will wear quite nicely. I am going to carry it with some keys and loose change, like God intended knives to be carried.

I've said it before, and I'll undoubtedly say it again: I really look forward to this thread each week!! I'm sorry I have no photos to contribute, but I certainly enjoy the wide variety of stag examples folks post here each Saturday! Thanks!:D:thumbup:

Well said GT - Great Stag and pics today everyone:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Smithhammer, I absolutely love that little knife. I could see myself self putting that to great use come hunting season.

sugarleaf - Those are 3 beautiful Stag 77's you have there my friend! Some of the best looking popcorn I have seen on production made folders :)

Thanks Ron! Really happy with the stag on these.

Lemmy - cool pictures and background. I had no idea there were higos like that.

Will & Oldtymer - really liking those conductors. I think I need to find me one :D

Agree with everyone else, this is a great thread! The beauty of stag is that each one is unique to itself and a one off, in a way... Thanks for sharing everyone!

I like popcorn stag with lots of figure and lots of white/black contrast. So I was underwhelmed when I received my 2014 Forum Knife. It seemed washed-out brown and kind of meh...so I put it up and didn't think about it for months.

Then I got it out to oil the joint and noticed how well it complimented some mammoth I have. Now I quite like it. Funny how tastes change. The stag is nice and thin, even wasp-waisted, just how I prefer stag. Heres the BFC knife with a Northfield #66 in mammoth, and a Dozier K-6 Companion in mammoth:

Dang, I missed posting yesterday, but this new 78 has been accompanying my new Spydie for the last week or so. Out of the box, the pull almost required pliers to open, but it's slowly breaking in.

Don´t let this thread die... I can´t get enough of seeing stag in all its magnificience!!

I´m taking my F. Hartkopf stag lockback with me today - one of my favorite knives!

Here is my Sears Craftsman carpenter's whittler with some insanely fat stag scales. The knife was made by Schrade. It has the fattest stag scales of any knife I own, and I am sure they are not original, but who cares? Gorgeous stag speaks for itself.
