Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

Well, the Stag looks a treat on that Puma:cool: Blade seems like it could do with a decent sharpening though, choice find:thumbsup:
Thank you, and yes a good sharpening will be in order.. I found another that had a factory edge but the stag on this one won me over.. I will post on this one next Saturday after she's polished up abit.

Correction; turns out the one i bought was made 1990 not 1978. I hope i didn't mess up. The look is similar

Auction is over. They are mine now.

Mike, those are just GORGEOUS!!! WOW:thumbsup::thumbsup::confused: the Stag and the silver work...OUTSTANDING, wait till Duncan lays eye's on these;):)
Thanks Paul. Duncan has probably seen it since I have had it for a while, but it was lost to the photobucket debacle. The silver was black and the stag was very dry when I got it. I use it every now and then during the holiday season.

I decided to get two. '79 on the left and '90 on the right. These are super well built despite a few liner gaps here and there. They hefty, snappy and wobble free. Regarding the the butt end pic, I wonder if I could somehow gently squeeze out that gap. Might just regret it if I try.

Mike Robuck Mike Robuck - Mike- it seems that everything you post is absolutely amazing!
This Stag set is a great example of what I’m trying to say my friend.
Just Wow. I’m sure I have seen this before some time ago- but I sure don’t regret having to see it again.
