Yucatán Red Deer Antler by J D Ware.

joeradza joeradza Thanks Alan. I advise staying away from his website. If you go there, be prepared to buy a knife! You might be interested to know that this one was from John L's collection. I know how much you appreciate his knives. I figured if it was good enough to capture his imagination, it was good enough for me!

Vince (VCM3) had a hand in all three of these. He gave the stag John Lloyd swayback to my son so he could learn how to sharpen a knife, which he hasn't really done so far. Then Vince put stag on the opener and the ceramic sharpening rod. The pink sharpening rod came from a Kodak plant in the south. I can't remember what they used them for but a friend gave me some of them a while back. I keep one in my camping gear, but they are so small I have to be really careful using them. This one I keep with my kitchen knives.

Here's some "rare" Rough Rider stag on a canoe. Definitely not the type of stag we're used to seeing, but I like it anyway! ;) I'm a pretty indiscriminate fan of stag!
Actually, I gave this knife away in a GAW, but off the top of my head, I don't remember to whom I sent it!
