Ron, you have some beauties, I especially love the Oregon Trapper.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Double up on the stag in this pic. The pommel was done in a satin finish but I decided to make it a mirror polish. The buck was found frozen in the ice on a friend’s grandma’s pond. Had to wait till the spring to retrieve it.

I am blown away by the fixed blades you have been posting. This Fisher and the Karl Andersen (burl ?) the other day. Are these recently made knives or ones you've had awhile?

That's one fine looking # 66 my friend.

Here's a back pocket from Don Hanson. Stunning stag with his famous W2 steel. This one is carried and used frequently, as it should be.

That knife is stunning!!

What a great picture of your 56 Bird Dog how do you like that knife I didn't get one but I do like them. I'm trying my best to stick to building my Barlow collection and then they have to go and release a knife like that****temptation, temptation temptation.:eek::D

The Andersen is spalted maple and one heck of an example of how puzzle pieces can just randomly appear lol. I’ve had that one for a few months now and the Fisher was delivered yesterday. Very lucky to have both as they are so finely finished.

Thanks Randy! It was definitely a pleasant surprise. I really like the size and the pull. (Sorry, I don't want to distract you from your Barlows, which are also great knives and similar in size.)

What brand is that, what I presume to be a power amp. It's reminiscent of the old Heathkit stuff. Beautiful knife by the way.
It is a Gemtune amp... Very good quality for an overseas brand and stays true to the old school way of doing things with only point to point wiring and no circuit boards. Very easy to tweak and customize to suit one's tastes.

Thanks Harry! :)

Wonderful stag, Ron! I've got an oldie to throw in the mix, a #73 Genuine Stag Single Blade.

Thanks for the info I'm way into vacuum tube amps. They have a warmth that IMO just can't be reproduced with solid state design and point to point wiring can be a bit confusing to trace and repair but IMO much more rugged than an etched circuit board. Keep in mind that when I went to college they were still teaching vacuum tube theory and even using them instead of diodes in the power supply and micro processors were new had external rom and ram.:eek:
Here's some stag as to not go completely off topic.
