Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

This pair of Case knives from the Stag Rancher series before they began etching the blade is a sweet combo. Mini copperhead, single blade, wharnecliffe and a Texas Jack, both in CV steel. You gotta love 'em!

Gorgeous!!!
But that looks like a Wharncliffe Mini Trapper, not a Mini Copperhead.

Perhaps you can understand why it's a user.
I think perhaps I can.

Really liking the size, shape and texture on my latest Dan Graves

Thanks very much gents. Actually, the definition should not be 'Gnarly Stag' but Great Good Fortune Stag!:D got it by pure chance & luck, my dealer had a few examples and I chose it, had I been a bit later....

Half/Stop Half/Stop Thanks too Ron, glad you enjoyed both the show and my knife;) I really like that dark Stag on the 73 and the 14 shows some great body too:thumbsup:
Thank you Will! :)

That makes me want to get one of those teardrops!

Thanks sir! That one was a gift from my daughter several years back. I fell like I taught her well!

Thanks Dwight! :)

I was planning on sharing this one today, with the passing of Jim Merritt it's even more relevant. This was made in the era that Jim was in the Loveless shop, probably late '80s. It's a part of a pair from the shop, the other being the boot knife I posted a couple of weeks ago, consecutive shop numbers.

The day is young, but there's already a plethora of peerless deerless antler here!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Even though I carry many knives throughout the week, this week not a single one had stag covers!:thumbsdown::(
Last Saturday Stag of 2018. Happy New Years to everyone on the Porch.
...
But when you put it that way, I have to post something here in my last chance for 2018, even if it's a knife I didn't carry this week. Here are a couple of stag Joker lockbacks I recently obtained, one of which I haven't posted anywhere until now. The first one below is 4" closed and debuting here; the second is 3.25" closed and I posted about it in Carl's Lounge when its box arrived with no knife in it!
