Nice FnR Jeff. I always wondered what it would look like if a shield was on the wider butt end of a knife. I can't wrap my head around it. Maybe a different shield would work better.

Alan, I agree. Altogether, it's the oddest traditional knife I own. Not quite a dogleg, not quite a eureka, not quite a gunstock . . .
maybe it's a serpentine swell-center sleeve board. At least it's alliterative. And the shield placement is VERY strange, maybe unique.
Quite the conversation piece, but still a knice carry!
