Thanks for the comments Will. I know you like Acrylics, here's the brother same size & blades with "Cracked Ice" covers.
Best Regards, George

I am going to start off this Stag Saturday with this beautiful '08 Northfield 73 Scout that I got from Mr. Hilburn. :D My best to you Paul!

Just picked this one up from Charlie, has wonderful matched stag. Happy weekend folks.

Best regards

I think this is probably my favorite thread on the Porch!;) I look forward to every Saturday when I can at least vicariously participate in STAG SATURDAY!! I think I must have been born a stag addict, because I adore the few stag-handled knives I own, and I just get a big grin on my face looking at other people's stag knives. :D

This week is no exception: every post is fantastic, in my biased opinion!

Splendid kick-off, Ron; congrats on your new stag 73! I get pretty weak-in-the-knees over the stag 73s that came out last spring or summer, but I didn't realize there were some fantastic stag 73s eight years ago! Anxiously awaiting a shot of your new Scout with blade open, Ron. ;)

...
Robin, that curvaceous stag Ablett is downright sensual!:thumbup: Is that called an Ettrick pattern, or something else? (Long-term exposure to stag photos seems to affect my brain's processing abilities. :o)

Brett, your 2014 Forum knife is getting "gorgeouser" by the day!

Love the big 53/54s...
There's a lot of stag to love there, BLB!

I'm not a fixed blade guy at all, but I have to admit that some of the most heart-tugging stag I've seen has been on fixed blades! hamsco, that's a very cool pic; you've got the grand canyon going there in that "length of the handle" shot!

Keith, that is a fantastic-looking knife, with the stag and the fancy bolsters (and the edge on that blade - did you put that on yourself?!?), but I don't recognize it at all. Can you give some details, please? Thanks!:)

...
That just about covers it... ;)
That sure does, Ted!! Stunning, staggering stag display, sir!:thumbup:

I'm gonna post pics of the stag canoes I have, sort of a stag regatta to "ring in spring":

Harry - I was joking to Paul after I received the knife about this stag being a lot like me, old and mellowed. Thank you it is a beauty.:D

Glad you enjoyed the "Canyon" Stag.

A little mid-week bump, since I took photos this Saturday of my carry and just got too busy to post 'em. From top to bottom in the top pic: A Kissing Crane gunstock NKCA 1980 club knife, a Queen #14 peanut, and a German Bull GB-106 stockman.
