Ok, I lied John, here's my humble submission ;) I bought this new on a class trip to see the Freedom Train in 1976. I never warmed up to Stainless and always carried my older red bone #62087. Over many years, I have come to really appreciate it. Back in the day, the Stainless was a struggle to sharpen vs the Carbon blades. Once I over came that hurdle I appreciated it more. I just didn't have patience back then:confused:

This Buck 110 was not what I was expecting. It was listed by Copper & Clad on Amazon for less than it was on the C&C web sight I now believe they were selling off the ones that were not very attractive They were using the same stock photo of a nice bark stag example in all the listings for this model I was a little upset and was going to return it Until I held it OMG it is very fat in the middle almost an inch thick. it drops right into my hand and almost locks into my grip It is uncanny how good it feels in my hand So I had to keep it

When I first got it I posted in the Buck forum and Makael Makael said it resembled a mushroom cloud
