  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Stag Saturday - Let's See Some Traditional Stag!

Thanks, Will  It has a greasy look to it, like grilled pork steaks:cool:
Another example of Old School fantastic 😍 That Stag's so rich it looks good enough to gnaw on, like a full bodied spicy fruit cake, a grilled lamb chop, barbecued meat :D It just exudes TASTE  The aesthetics of the knife remarkable too, small bolster Barehead - get into the groove 🦌

Fine old Stag Turner Johnnythefox Johnnythefox Nice integral bolster, all steel with pins, great Antler and copper bail. It won't be 200 hundred though as Turner was just about starting out on his own then. The Encore mark was originally the trademark of another cutler and after his death in late 1830s it was bought by Turner but not used until after this 1867 advert. But it's likely from the late c19th and is probably over 125 years, great item.
