Wow, Jake. That's a nice looking piece. I'd be carrying that too!

Why thank you Gary. I love that the two sides are completely different and that there's no big pivot taking up space like you'd normally find on a shadow pattern

Ravishing Rooster, Mike!

GT, that knife if just gorgeous!
Thanks, John. :) (Sorry I didn't see your comment earlier, but I only allow myself to visit this thread on Saturdays - if I can control myself.)

Old stag, Wostenholm horsemans knife, maybe mid 1800's.

I really admire the red-orange hue of that old stag, Augie! Phenomenal!

GEC 85 that sees a lot of use, verdigris is becoming a problem and this is why I prefer steel, stainless steel or NS liners.

Although the verdigris is less than ideal, that's still a captivating 85, Will!

I'm going with some Natural Stag today. :)

That's an attractive pattern, Ron, and the coloring of the stag is remarkable. The stag reminds me of something good to eat that's probably not that good for you, like rich chocolate!:D

Awesome, John! TV sure puts out some stag that I find super-appealing!

Here is a Viper from this years run. I hope it ages as well as your Horseman's knife.

Whoa! Dynamite stag on your Viper, hamsco!

Always a joy to see this unique knife, OT!:thumbup:

Holy Cow, Jamie! What model is that knife? Is that some version of a 38? That pattern would grab me with any covers, but the stag on yours is Dream-City!!:thumbup:

Here's some Colt stag I snagged last summer. Now that Colt knives are apparently defunct, I wish I'd picked up more while I had the chance. :(

Fantastic bit of Old Stag on that lockback, I assume it's an English knife, possibly German and early c20th?

GT Thanks for your approval It's a nice balanced knife with the slabs being the same thickness, the brass-bleed is getting nasty though, hence my preference for all steel construction with Stag.

Ah thanks for the correction. It looks like English Lockbacks I've seen. Really beautiful example, congratulations are in order:cool:

Fine old tool-chest too.

Thanks very much. The chest belonged to my wife's grandfather. I think he made it.

White Owl Ron? I don't recall seeing this one before. Very nice.

Actually Bob, it's a Big One a Cuban Pen. You are right though, it's really nice. Hope ole Ron don't mind a European barging in like this...;):D

Thanks Will. I like it. I didn't remember the Cubans having that blade configuration. Most of them I've seen were two full blades or stockman patterns.
Being that Ron is getting a bit long in the tooth, I'm sure he doesn't mind a little help. ;) :D :D :D

Bob - Thanks for the compliment on my big ole Cuban pen! :D
Will - Thanks for helping our friend with some Single Spring wisdom, and I don't mind at all!

After all I am getting a bit long in the tooth!!!:eek::D

Ron Thanks, well Traditionals are synonymous with Long Toothedness in some minds:D:cool:

Many days I feel I'm gaining on Methuselah...:D
