For sale or trade is this beautiful EDC by Jim Wharton (Stag & Steel) made from 1/8" 154CM, 6 1/2" overall with a 3 1/4" guard to tip length. Handle is Snakewood with a black G10 spacer and 304 stainless guard. It comes with leather and Kydex sheaths and a caribiner clip for carrying on belt or neck. SPF
Next is Hix hand forged semi-skinner. I don't know much about the maker except he is from Missouri. Most knife search engines won't do a three letter search, but I do know that the blade is forged 52100 with a differential heat treat and visible temper line. brass guard and stag handle. Blade is approximately 4". This is a beautiful knife that I haven't had the heart to use.
Next is a Collector Knives by Sam McDowell small drop point like new, I don't know much about this maker other than he designs the knives and has them made exclusively for him in Seki City Japan by Kai Cutlery Company out of surgical steel. He is known for his scrimshaw but this one is not scrimshawed.
Next is a Sunfish pattern of Solingen origin but unknown maker. Approximately 4" closed, bone handles, nickel silver bolsters, stainless blades, large & small, user.
LNIB Muela Sambar Stag Skinner: about 10" long with 3 5/8" upswept 440 stainless steel blade with thumb recess at the spine.on hold
I'm open to offers. I like fixed blades of 4" or less in blade length. I prefer traditional styling and materials to "tactical" looking pieces but there's always exceptions. Some knives I'm currently wanting are:
Bark River Mini Montana, Scout, Huntsman (older models with the larger pins), PSK (except orange), Mini-C, Mikro-C, Lil' Chute, Snowy River, Bird & Trout, HP Hunter, Mini-Kephart, or others.
Fehrman Peace Maker
Ontario Tak-1 1095 PE, Rat-3 PE
Benchmade 201 Activator Plus
Fallkniven H1
Other small fixed blade by
Scott Gossman (formerly Razorback knives)
Tom Krein TK-1, TK-3, or Dogfish
Bob Dozier K-2 or K-19
Strider ED
Dan Koster
Murray Carter
Helle
Fjelkniven
Odell
Symfoni
Eggen
Leatherman Surge with the brown sheath only
